What's inside

Every primitive you'd build
if you had the time.

CloudTrack ships the boring, load-bearing pieces — auth, sync, reports, exports — so your team can spend its hours on the work that matters, not on stitching together tools.

Native desktop timer

Electron-powered tracker with idle detection, project picker, and tray controls. Starts in under 200ms.

Offline-first sync

Local SQLite buffers entries on flaky networks. Background sync every 30s, dedupe on the server.

Real-time dashboards

Live bar and pie charts with date filters. See where the day went without refreshing a tab.

Projects & tasks

Hierarchical project / task model with rates, billable flags, and per-task budgets baked in.

Roles & invites

Org-aware role model with admin and member tiers. Invite teammates by email in one click.

CSV & API exports

Pull every entry into your warehouse, payroll, or invoicing flow. JSON API and one-click CSV.

JWT, hashed, and rotated

Access + refresh tokens, bcrypt-hashed credentials, scoped per organization. No screen recording.

Built on Postgres

Prisma schema, ACID guarantees, and migrations under version control. Boring infrastructure on purpose.

How it works

From clock-in to invoice,
in three steps.

No setup wizard, no compulsory training. Most teams are tracking real hours within ten minutes of installing the desktop app.

01

Track from anywhere

Install the desktop client on macOS, Windows, or Linux. Pick a project, hit start. Idle detection nudges you when you walk away.

02

Sync without thinking

Entries buffer locally and sync every 30 seconds. Your team's hours stay consistent across devices, networks, and time zones.

03

Report what matters

Live dashboards, billable splits, and one-click CSV exports plug into payroll, invoicing, or your data warehouse.

Desktop client

One install,
every OS your team runs.

CloudTrack ships native installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Signed, notarized, and small — the desktop app launches in under 200 ms and keeps tracking through flaky networks.

Customer voices

Boring infrastructure,
remarkable outcomes.

"We replaced two timesheet tools and a Notion database with CloudTrack. Our payroll close went from a full Friday to about forty minutes."
Priya Anand
Head of Operations · Hyperline
"The desktop client just works. Idle detection is genuinely smart — it suggests merges instead of silently chopping hours like the alternative did."
Marcus Lee
Engineering Manager · Northwind
"Offline-first matters when your team flies. CloudTrack keeps tracking on a plane, then reconciles cleanly when we land. No lost time, no awkward emails."
Eva Söderberg
COO · Lattice Labs
FAQ

Questions, answered.

No. CloudTrack is built around timestamps and idle detection — never screenshots, keystrokes, or screen recording. We believe surveillance erodes trust faster than any productivity tool can rebuild it.

Yes. The desktop app uses a local SQLite store and a background sync worker. You can track on a plane, in a tunnel, or on a flaky café network — entries reconcile cleanly when you're back online.

We support CSV import for time entries, projects, and members on every plan. Direct importers for Hubstaff and Toggl ship in the Business plan, with white-glove migration on Enterprise.

You're billed per active member per month. We don't count inactive seats — if a teammate hasn't tracked any time in the billing window, they aren't billed. Annual plans are 20% off.

Yes — Enterprise customers can deploy CloudTrack to their own infrastructure with our Terraform module. Postgres + Node + Electron, no exotic dependencies.

Everything you put in, you can take out. CSV exports on every plan, JSON API on Pro and above, and a webhook stream for real-time downstream sync on Business.
